A message from Sami-
It is with a mix of emotions that I share the news that I will be stepping down from my role as Managing Director of Recovery Devon.
My 5 years with this incredible organisation has been deeply rewarding, filled with fond memories, meaningful connections, and the privilege of working alongside truly inspiring individuals.

Over the years, I’ve had the honour of collaborating with passionate colleagues, devoted members of the Recovery Devon community, and inspiring individuals from across the wider community. Together, we’ve achieved so much, and I leave with immense pride in what we’ve built and excitement for the future of Recovery Devon.
While this decision wasn’t easy, I know that now is the right time for me to step aside and open the door for someone new to lead this wonderful organisation into its next chapter. Recovery Devon is more than just a workplace; it’s a community that thrives on hope, support, and the shared commitment to making a difference in people’s lives.
We’re on the Hunt for Our Next Managing Director
With this news, Recovery Devon is officially seeking a new Managing Director. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about mental health, the importance of lived experience voices, and ready to lead an organisation forward and continue with the initiatives that we have been hard at work building.
Applications are due by 3rd February 2025, and the application pack is attached for anyone interested in applying or sharing with someone who might be the perfect fit.
To all of you who have been part of my journey here—thank you. I am so grateful for the support, collaboration, and memories we’ve created together. While I may be stepping away from this role, I will always remain a passionate advocate for the work and vision of Recovery Devon.
