Brixham Does Care is a registered befriending charity founded in 1978, which attempts to combat loneliness, isolation and despair.
They offer support to people of all ages and client groups in Brixham and the surrounding communities.
Brixham_Does_Care

Aims:

To support and be supported by the local community

To enhance quality of life, education, health and social welfare

To enhance the independence of vulnerable people

To enhance befriending support to all those in need.

Facilities:

Cafe: situated on the first floor of the Town Hall building and can be accessed either by stairs or a lift.  Teas, coffees, other soft drinks and snacks are sold on week days from 10am - 1pm

Office: next door to the cafe where staff are always happy to help you with any enquiries, queries you may be facing.  They endeavour to deal with each individual promptly although at times they are extremely busy.

Charity Shop: at 18-20 Middle Street in Brixham.  They are always happy to receive items for sale in the shop but stress that they are unable to accept any electrical goods.  They can organise for a minibus to collect items from your home if it is more convenient for you.  Please contact the shop via any of the office numbers or on the shop mobile: 07783 044 939.
