The Centre for Mental Health works to improve the quality of life for people with mental health problems by influencing policy and practice in mental health and related services. They focus on criminal justice and employment, with supporting work on broader mental health and public policy.
They published the highly influential paper, 'Making Recovery A Reality'.

Scottish Recovery Network

The Scottish Recovery Network (SRN) was formally launched in 2004 as an initiative designed to raise awareness of recovery from mental health problems. Since then interest in the concept of recovery has increased greatly in Scotland. They now understand more about what recovery means to people and are thinking carefully about the implications for the way they support people with mental health issues.

The Recovery In-Sight Centre is a socially-orientated company led by people who use services. It offers training products and training services, self-help and peer support, research, and advisory services on practice and service development in the area of recovery. It is a part of the Recovery In-Sight Social Enterprise (R.I.S.E).

National Survivor User Network (NSUN)

The National Survivor User Network (NSUN) is an independent network of individuals and groups who have direct experience of mental health distress and/or using mental health services.

They are creating a network which will engage and support the wide diversity of people who use mental health services and survivors across England in order to strengthen their voices.
