Recovery Devon (Partnerships in Mental Health)
The
Partnerships in Mental Health Recovery Group was created by Laurie
Davidson in 2003 with a view to the creation of the 2003 Recovery
Conference which saw WRAP introduced to Devon, the group went on
to organise the 2005 WRAP day in Exeter and the 2006
Recovery Conference. The group is made up of representatives
from the Statutory and Voluntary Mental Health Sectors be they
staff, service users or carers. In April 2007, we organised a week
long residential course on Peer
Support which was facilitated by Shery
Mead, one of the keynote speakers at the 2006
Recovery Conference. In 2007, we changed the name to Recovery
Devon (Partnerships in Mental Health). |
