key note speach at the University of Hertfordshire's Conference entitled "From
Here
to Recovery

Transforming
the Journey"
As well as the keynote speach entitled "Recovery: from rhetoric to reality, The story (to date) of RecoveryDevon and Recovery in Devon", we gave two symposia's entitled "Developing STR workers as Recovery Coaches Symposia" and "Is it possible to develop recovery based practice with people detained in hospital and subject to compulsory treatment?"

As well as the Keynote speakers, there were many Symposia's that were delivered over the two days. The keynote presentations and a DVD of the presentations will be available soon for viewing at the conference homepage, hosted by the University of Hertfordshire.
As well as the conference, there was the first meeting of the UK Recovery Network which has been named N.O.R.A.
